this week

has been funny at work.
yesterday, a student handed in a comic she'd made. i gave my E1 level students a worksheet - a comic strip of two dogs. they had to name the dogs, make a title for the comic, and create a short dialogue. jessica's dogs were named jim and pam - two very uncommon names for students to choose. immediately, i thought of the office. what was also strange, the comic was almost perfectly written.
today, i awarded one of my youngest, sweetest students with a whopping 3 homework stickers. the stickers this week are letters of the alphabet. some students are having fun, collecting enough stickers to spell their name, or my name, or "love". this particular student had placed his 3 stickers on his desk, and what do i look over to see: W T F - in that order.
