the only thing to fear...
so i was just putting some things in my new desk drawer when i came across a clipped stack of little papers. they're kind of like flashcards. on them: fears. i should be familiarizing myself with lesson plans, but instead i cut the cards and picked out a few that i thought were worth picking out.
Ergophobia: Fear of work.
(ahem..)
Belonephobia: Fear of pins and needles.
Peccatophobia: Fear of sinning.
Optophobia: Fear of opening your eyes.
(sad)
Decidophobia: Fear of making decisions.
(ahem ahem...)
Brontophobia: Fear of thunder.
Gynephobia: Fear of women.
Phobophobia: Fear of your own fears.
other relics of teachers past in the new desk drawer:
listerine, gluestick, french vanilla cappucino mix, stickers, chalk, wooden chopsticks, and 4 sunkist candies.
